A Press From an Unrecognised Hold

If the static strength element was not recognised, for any reason, the press out of it is not recognised either. A strength part after that can still be recognised if it meets its own requirements.

  • Press or pull-out from a strength hold that was not recognisedNR

A Press From a Poorly Held Position

Sometimes a hold is deducted for its position, and that position makes the press out of it easier. Examples are a high angle or a technically poor hold. In that case, the same deduction is taken again on the press.

  • The hold's angle deduction, repeated on the press−0.1or−0.3

At most 0.3 on the press.

Applies to
A high-angle deduction on both elements connected by strength.
Not to
Presses from faulty L-sits or from false grips, or the time a hold was held.

  • A strength element performed with swing, or a swing element with strength−0.1or−0.3or−0.5

If the element is performed almost entirely the other way, it is not recognised at all. The rings page has the details.
