Element Groups

  • EG I — Long hang swings with and without turns0.5
  • EG II — Flight elements0.3 or 0.5
  • EG III — In bar and Adler elements0.3 or 0.5
  • EG IV — DismountsThe dismount's value, at most 0.5

Dismount group
From 1 January 2026, the dismount's value up to 0.5. An F dismount still counts 0.6 as a difficulty, but 0.5 as a group.

The dismount group's value is capped at 0.5.

What applied before

The dismount group was worth the dismount's full value.

Connection Value

  • Flight C + flight D or higher, either order+0.1
  • Flight D + flight D+0.1
  • Flight D or higher + flight E or higher, either order+0.2
  • EG I or III element, D or higher + flight D, either order+0.1
  • EG I or III element, D or higher + flight E or higher, either order+0.2

Only these connections earn a value. Every element in a connection must be among the eight that count. The Zou Li Min cannot be combined with anything for more value.

Same Element, Same Number

Unless the tables say otherwise, an element keeps its value and number. It does not depend on:

  • where it starts: handstand, a back swing or elsewhere
  • the grip, even a wrong or atypical one
  • for a flight, the grip it starts or regrasps in

Flights from el-grip, and dismounts from el-grip or dorsal hang, are worth the same as in regular grip.

  • Ending in double el-grip rather than one-arm el-gripOne letter higher
  • Endo + 1/1 turn to el-gripTwo elements, B + C
  • Stalder + ½ turn to el-gripTwo elements, B + B
  • Stalder RybalkoOne element

Every Endo, Stalder, Weiler and Kip element with a turn is two elements, except the Stalder Rybalko.

Special Repetition

An exercise cannot include more than one grip variation of the same element with turns. For example, a Rybalko in double el-grip, in mixed grip or in one-hand grip is one element. The highest-valued one counts, as in the repetition rules of the other apparatus.

  • A second grip variation of the same element with turnsHighest counts
  • A third Adler-type elementTwo highest count
  • A third flight element of one styleTwo permitted
