Handstands
- A handstand reached from swing does not need to be held. But it must look as if it could have been held.
- Elements to one bar, such as Chiarlo and Piasecky, go to a handstand with the hands slightly apart. A slight deviation of the shoulders or body is allowed because of the unnatural hand position.
- Momentary handstand on one or two rails, not controlled−0.1
- Stepping or a hand adjustment in handstand−0.1each
- Chiarlo-type element: excessive hand separation or body deviation, each−0.1or−0.3or−0.5
- An element defined as finishing in handstand, such as the Diamidov, continues into long hang or upper arm support without clearly showing the handstand with straight armsby the D-JuryMay not be recognised

Bent Legs in Moys, Giants and Kips
The legs stay straight in these cases:
- On every Moy and backward giant swing, the legs stay straight until the body is horizontal.
- Every element in hang followed by a kip is performed with straight legs.
Only the two rows below replace the general bending scale (Art. 9.2.7). Any other bending, a kip included, is deducted on that scale.
- Moy or giant: legs bent before the body is horizontal−0.1or−0.3
- After a Bhavsar or similar horizontal regrasp to hang: glide kip with bent legs−0.3

Front Uprise and Felge to Support
A front uprise finishes with the back horizontal with the bars. A Felge to support finishes with the body at horizontal or above.
- Front uprise or Felge to support: up to 45° below horizontal−0.1
- Front uprise or Felge to support: more than 45° below horizontal−0.3
- Front uprise to L-sit: lack of amplitude in the uprise−0.1or−0.3
The Code and the newsletter say a small and a medium deduction. Those are 0.1 and 0.3.
Newsletter 3, p. 4 · in force from 1 January 2026
A Felge to support must finish with the body at horizontal or above. Up to 45° below is a small deduction. More than 45° below is a medium deduction.
