Connection Value
- D or higher + B or C+0.1
- D or higher + D or higher+0.2
- One element can be connected on both sides, and each connection counts.
- Every element in a connection must be among the eight counting elements.
- Acrobatic elements keep their own values when connected.
No connection value for:
- counter saltos (double salto backward 1/1 to salto forward 1/1)
- directly connected single saltos with turns (salto backward 5/2 to salto forward 1/1)
- a connection that ends in a fall

Rules for Particular Elements
- In principle, only acrobatic elements can be worth more than D.
- Circles and flairs have the same value and number, unless the tables say otherwise. They begin and end in front support.
- Two strength parts for one value, with a stop in only one — Manna 1 sec and press to handstand without a stopLower value (C for the Manna)
- Press to handstand with a step or the legs touching the floorNo value for the press; the handstand counts if held for the required time
- Japanese handstand: legs closed, head within one hand's thickness of the floorRequired
- A twisting salto partly tucked — for example salto forward straight with double turn, bent in the second turnby the E-Jury−0.1or−0.3Full value
- Spindle to handstand (I.93, I.100) within 2 circlesOne element
Spindles: 2 circles means 3 front-support positions from the start. For I.93 and I.100, the gymnast does not need to reach the third one, because he is rising to handstand at that moment.
